I checked in to find the staff very rude and then found the following things wrong in the room
1) Room was supposed to be non-smoking and smelled like smoke and filthy all at the same time.
2) The AC didnt work so we checked the filter to find it BLACK and we had to clean it in the bathroom just to get some fresh air.
3) The headboard was broken and the broken piece with screws sticking out was leaning against the wall.
4) There were cobwebs and dirt all over the room walls, carpets were nasty I wouldnt even go without shoes.
5) The TV remote was broken
6) We had no towel until we called and asked then the ones we got were stained and terrible.
7) There was no blanket on the bed, just a sheet and the bedspread which was stained.
The owners/managers certainly do not care about the upkeep of their facility. I went to walmart and purchased lysol to spray down the bed, room because I was unfamiliar with the area and was charged prior to arrival and on a tight schedule of appointments and did not have time to find another place to stay, otherwise I would have turned around and left.

Service... #1 Staff was very Rude
#2 No record of our resrvations even though we made them on 2 different occasions. Staff blamed us.
#3 Broken toilet, handle came off in my hand when I tried to flush. Dirty bathtub
#4 Only allowed 3bath towels per family of 5, when we requested more they gave us only 1 more, staff argued that he had his job to do as well???!!!:(
#5 Dirty Room, had my first Asthma attack of the yr...Grandaughter broke out in Hives. Found a whole cookie by one of the beds left by previous tenants.

I have generally felt that I have received good value at Super 8 Hotels. However, this one was an exception. The clerk at check-in was rude and incompetent. At 8:30 in the evening a construction crew started woriing in the adjoining room with extremely loud hammering and sawing. It took 3 calls to the desk clerk to get it stopped and then he was upset that we would not permit the crew to continue. The towels were stained and the bathtub was dirty. What else can I say. This place needs some attention.

We checked in not comfortable with the location. Entered the room and then promptly left the room and cancelled or stay for a full refund and found another hotel. The Fairfield by Mariott. LEVELS above the Super 8.
