This Hampton Inn is like most others and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was there to visit a friend that was staying there for business and his associates made up most of the guests. So it was very quiet and we had the place to ourselves. I did have trouble using the internet and the hot tub/sauna area could have been cleaner. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast provided was nice to have so that we could grab something and run out to do some sightseeing. There were plenty of fast food places and a few chain stores around as well. A movie theater was close by. If you go into town, you can find local places to eat as well as larger restaurants. I recommend a trip to San Antonio!

Good hotel, good local advice and great service. Recommended for travellers not used to the US. Fast check-in. No hassle and good, clean rooms.

Used an honors awards to stay here. The place seemed to be squeaky clean, they were in the process of putting in new carpeting and repainting while we were there.

Check-in was very easy, the keys were ready to go, we were done in a couple of minutes. The manager pointed us to a nearby seafood place (Bluebeards, it was just OK. Pier 99 was excellent - try the Diablo Shrimp).

We had two queen beds, they were very comfortable. TV had logs of channels and the reception was good. Wireless internet was flawless. The room had plenty of plugs and a comfortable desk and chair. There's a refrigerator, microwave and a small dining table for two people.

The hotel is right near a K-Mart and Walmart for all the junk you forget while you're at the beach. It's less than 10 minutes from the Aquarium and Lexington.

Comfortable rooms here with mediocre housekeeping during stay. Breakfast is OK and staff is pleasant. Nothing particularly noteworthy about this hotel but nothing wrong either. If I return to this area I would shop around a bit but might stay here again.
