Booked the efficiency with kitchen for 7 nights. Place was dirty. Bathroom had little roaches that would scamper away when you turned on the light. Furniture was broken down and nasty with stains all over the chairs.Little AC did not comfortably cool the place, but there was a small rusty dusty fan for us to use. My husband and I were dealing with these issues, but when the owner refused to let us trade in our towels and linens for fresh ones on the 4th day, well that did it. The owner told us he had not raised rates in 9 years, and it was too expensive to provide fresh towels and linens. There was a binder with info in it that says we can trade our towels and linens, but he said he had changed the rules. The pool is so small that 2 people on floats would fill it up. The owner was rude. My husband and I went to the office only twice... at check in and to ask for clean linens. We stayed gone most of the time at the beach and the CC Hooks baseball games. We bought a small fan to use, and an extension cord as there were hardly any outlets there. Only one bedside table and lamp which is an issue with me. However, there was not enough room for one on both sides of the bed. There was only 2 of us, but said could sleep 4! There was an old futon. On the positive side, the shower and tub seemed new. the fridge was a nice size, though rusty on the outside. The place was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The beautiful beach was a very short walk away. I could have dealt with all the negatives, but the refusal for clean linens was unacceptable. Will not go back to the Beachcomber next year when we return to Pt. A!
