Sorry Aloft, I really liked you and the relation to SPG. However, this has got to be the lower end of the spectrum for SPG. Perhaps like how a Courtyard is to a Marriott.

For the business traveler, the only thing cooked to order is somewhat of a egg sandwich in the morning. For dinner, you must pick from their pre-packaged snacks if you need to get work done back in the room. Not fun.

My bed was basically flat. The room was clean, and larger than other competitors, which was nice. However the fact that the soap was attached to the wall in the shower meant for me that no one wanted to give anything away... except for one lotion bottle next to the one bar soap.

I also got two double beds as opposed to a king. Not fun.

Overall I most likely won't be staying back here. They really need to install a kitchen in this place for the business folk in the area. Some people can't get out of the hotel or even out of the office. Having this, along with nicer beds, I'd be sold. Fun, hip vibe doesn't suck.

I've stayed in a number of Aloft hotels and this one did not disappoint. Very friendly staff, clean hotel, great location. Tough to find any reason to complain.

First time staying at an Aloft. Won't be the last. Loved this place. Cool loft vibe.

We stayed here overnight for a quick shopping trip.
- The location was perfect for that -- right off the highway, close to many malls, a high end resteraunt/movie center (Legacy), Ikea, etc.
- the lobby was noisy because of the busy bar, but the rooms were quiet
- the rooms were setup well to watch TV, sleep and use you iPad and things. The bed was better than budget hotels too.
- the decor was cool, maybe not piled off perfectly, but still far better than the chains
- it was a good value
- my husband loved the rain shower
