I stayed at the quality inn for the Christmas weekend. The first room the heater was going out and was really noisy so i called to switch rooms. The second room the heater was not working at all i left it on for an hour and the room was still freezing and there was a huge red stain on the floor and a beer cap on the floor in plain sight. I went to the front desk and she asked well how long did you keep the heater on because we have already had to put your other room out of order like it was my fault!! So i get to the third room and it was alot better but i finally get in the shower and i hear someone trying to come in my room i go to the door and I see the receptionist and when she hears my voice takes off and than calls my room and asks why I am in this room. I went to the front desk and asked her what was going on and she said oh "they" forgot to switch your rooms when it was her that switched me! Than i asked why she was trying to come in my room and she flat out lied and said maybe it was maintenance???? Next time i will make sure to pay more for the better quality hotel. Oh and the girl who was working the front desk was either on her cell phone when i went down or talking to some guy that she was more interested in than finding me a room that the heater worked it because it had snowed the last couple days there and it was cold outside!!!!!

There's not a lot to choose from in Pecos, Texas. This Quality Inn was in a good location for an overnight stopover (which is what I was doing), and I felt completely safe there. You are in the middle of oil country, so there are a lot of pickup trucks and noisy oil field workers to contend with, to say nothing of the mud off their boots. The room was clean enough but the rugs were stained, and there was a parking lot light right over my window, so I couldn't leave the drapes open even a little. The room rate was around $120! I'd like to rate it a bit higher than "poor" but it's not quite up to "average." But, as I said at the beginning, if you have to be in Pecos, Texas, overnight, you don't have a lot of choice.

Based on terrible reviews here we tried every other place in town before resigning ourselves to staying at the Quality Inn after finding no rooms were available at more highly rated establishments. In contrast to negative reports, we found a. a friendly check in person b. a clean room and c. a decent breakfast with a helpful breakfast attendant. We checked in late and left early so did not check out the pool or other facilities.....other than the wi fi, which worked quite well. I would definitely stay here again based on our positive experience.

The rooms were dirty, the ice machine was filthy, the breakfast area was dirty, the food was out with flies on it, the coffee tasted like dirty paper towels, and the desk clerks were rude. When the clerk was told that the waffle maker was on and was full of burnt batter, he shrugged his shoulders and went back to texting on his phone. He was still texting when we checked out and after he finished his text, he handed us someone else's bill and went back to his phone. We had to wait for him to find our bill. He never uttered one word to us the entire time.
