Nice new hotel, but I was not given the room I had reserved. I booked through Hilton Honors and reserved a king hot tub room, but upon check-in, I was given a standard double queen. I asked her why I was not given the room I reserved and was told that for the price I had reserved, they couldn't give me that room. The hotel was less than 1/2 full the entire week I was here, and as a Diamond member, complimentary room upgrades are promised. For the explanation I was given, I can see no reason why I was not given the room I reserved. I am staying at this same hotel next week and have reserved the exact same room, so we will see what happens.

I appreciate you taking the time to voice your concerns with our hotel. I want to personally apologize we failed to deliver on our service and your experience.
We want our guests to have the best stay possible where everything is like new, of the highest quality, in perfect working order and a level of service that cannot be beat. I apologize if that was not the case during your stay. We value our gold and diamond Hilton Honors members who are the most loyal clients throughout the Hilton portfolio. Room upgrades are available to our gold and diamond Hilton Honors members based on availability. Seeing that we did have availability, our standard upgrade procedure is to be upgraded to a king studio suite. We do not have an upgrade option available for the king whirlpool suite. Due to the inconvienence during this stay, we will comp a whirlpool suite on us for your next week's stay. Again, we would like to apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your this recent visit.
We value you as a guest, and I do want you to know that your concerns are our concerns. Please give us an opportunity to stay with us so that we can re-demonstrate our commitment to your comfort.
