This hotel was ok, a bit musty but they gave us a huge room so I appreciated that after a long drive. However I was surprised at the price, a bit high I thought for the middle of nowhere, but I guess you are captive. The breakfast, though free, was terrible and the woman who refreshes the biscuits (reheated) has a tip plate. I have never seen that before! It is ok but I would have preferred the holiday inn express, which was sold out.

This room initially looked clean. In the bathroom I killed a bug on the floor but thought that was no big deal (being from swampy Louisiana). However, a minute later my husband found the same kind of bug on the bed. It promptly jumped off as he tried to kill it and missed. Then we found another bug on the bedspread. I picked it up in a kleenex & brought it to the managing clerk and told him I wanted my money back & we were leaving. At first, he said that was because the guests when in and out & the bugs got in that way. Then he offered me a discount to change rooms. I said no and he credited me for the room. This place a not so hot!!

We were tired and not expecting much when we stopped in Ozona, TX, the seeming middle of nowhere. Pulling off the interstate, Christmas lights greeted us from a hotel we almost didn't notice - the Best Western. We didn't have much hope for a nice hotel room but were not such pleasantly surprised, but reluctant to leave the next day.
This hotel has been very recently renovated. We were given a great room for a great price. The room had a very comfortable bed, fresh linens, new furniture, and a nice TV. The lobby was pleasant and the staff exceptionally friendly. Our one problem with the remote running out of batteries was solved in seconds.

Great staff! Very clean & well maintained. Pride of ownership for sure. I stayed with my wife and two kids and got plenty of comfortable rest. Great bright lighting for parking. We would definitely stay again. Thanks.
