The staff was great, check in was good. The room was clean and operational with the exception of the following items. Definitely not a show stopper just feel for the price of a room here it should have been better maintained.

*bathroom fan not operational
*Frig not cleaned out still items left from previous guest
*bathroom door handle loose
I would rate this hotel a 7 on a 1-10 scale.
I would stay here again if needed but may try another location first

This Comfort Suites is very nice and, well, comfortable. It is ably managed and run by Meredith Cahill and Wendy Stevenson. The motel is conveniently located just South of the intersection of U.S. Hwy 59 and the South Loop 224 (Stallings Drive) in Nacogdoches (10 minutes from the Stephen F. Austin University Campus).

I've stayed at several Comfort Suites across the South from Texas to Alabama and have been an extended-stay guest at this location for the past ten months. It is very consistent with the quality that travelers have come to expect from this franchise.

From the friendly smiles and greetings of the staff to the pillow-top mattresses, spacious (clean) non-smoking rooms, full "hot and cold" breakfast buffet, wireless internet, flat screen TVs, work stations, exercise room, indoor heated pool, deep bathroom sinks, shower massage heads, excellent water pressure (plenty of hot water!), outdoor picnic area, and many other amenities, I believe you will find this location to be one of the premier lodging destinations in the area. There is a variety of eating establishments that are easily within walking distance, too. It's not home, but really close-you'll like this place!

Our one night stay was good. The hotel was clean and the employees were couteous and helpful.

I stayed here for two nights and everything was quite pleasant. The room was spacious, the bed very comfy, and the bathroom clean. The breakfast is typical continental fare (nothing special) and the staff is nice and helpful. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is the wi-fi which was sketchy in my room.
