We stayed at compostela beach apts, although it says playa las americas its just on the edge of both playa las americas and los christianos,but a good location,very close to a beautiful beach,playa la vista.lots of good eating places close bye. The apartment was regularly cleaned and was nice inside,only drawback was ours didnt have air conditioning,out apartment was on the 4th floor,and when u entered the bedroom and toilet was upstairs.so not good for young kids or elderly,but other apts are available, we didnt have to pay any deposit to cover damages unlike other apts,there was shops within complex for groceries,and also had cafe,restaurant and gd pool facilities and sunbathing deckchairs n parasols,would go back here as was very good.

we have just returned from our holiday in tenerife, there were 9 of us, me and my wife stayed in apartment 74s and the rest of the family stayed in villa 10, first our duplex, i don't think that a penny has been spent on the place since it was built in the late 70's? the bathroom was antiquated the kitchen ( if you can call it that) consisted of a few chipped worktops no draining board no drawers, and the microwave was in the dining area,i am so glad there was only the 2 of us because i would have felt so embarrassed asking another couple to sleep on the bed settee with the paper thin curtains hanging off the rails, but the view from the balcony was stunning, the upstairs was little better with the 1970's bathroom and the beds with about 8 springs in the mattresses, and keep the windows shut if you don't want the cleaners waking you up at the crack of dawn, there is no air con and because of the angle of the roof nowhere to fix a ceiling fan but we did find a portable one in the wardrobe after a few days which was a godsend, the safe was good and there was plenty of hot water but for 40+ pounds a night i have stayed in a lot better places, like next door at the vista sur, so come on guys if you are going to charge those prices then get the owners to stump up for a refurb, the staff at the complex are great and the place is clean and maybe if we had hired directly from them then it could have been better

Would stay here again.close to beach,shops and bars.duplux room.We picked a standard room,which had everything that we needed,micro,hob,kettle,coffee maker,toaster and fridge.There was no pool view(14j)but we were ok with that,our room overlooked the side street so we sat on the balcony and people watched.Apartments very clean and well looked after.Pool area VERY slippey (just around the pool)plenty of sunbeds and parasols.Lifts to all floors.No aircon,so we had trouble sleeping as it was so hot.We were self catering and ate everynight at the surfers bar.Great value for money,massive plates,great food and fantastic san miguel larger cold and creamy.BRILLIANT.Situated next to the visasur swiming pool(next to compostela beach apts)

I'd read a lot of reviews on this place before me and my friends booked up, we decided that if all were true, the pro's still outweighed the cons.
Putting it simply, I don't understand how anyone can have/had any major gripes with this place. Me and my friends paid £294pp for flights and a weeks stay, self catering. Our apartment was spacious with 4 clean beds (2 in a bedroom and 2 in the living room) fully kitted out for self catering people and was constantly kept clean when the cleaners came by.
No major noise during the night to complain about.
Decent bathroom facilities.

I simply thought it was great value for money!
