Have just returned from a trip to Tenerife, where we stayed at this hotel. When we arrived at the hotel we got a wow-experience. Never have I seen a hotel with so many flowers, plants, fountains and trees. It was FANTASTIC! When we came into the room, we were a little disappointed, it's very low standard and clearly worn out. The beds were hard to sleep on and no hot water in the evenings. We had a view over the pool and did not hear anything from the night life that was only a stone's throw away. We are very pleased with the hotel, perfect location, friendly personalel and amazing clean rooms! All in all, a joy to live here!

I would recommend everyone without children to stay here, there are few activities for children here. Perfect for couples, party groups, the elderly, the mother-daughter and everyone else. We will stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

Staying in Tenerife for a week in a party of 13 guys, all we needed was a place to stay on the night. The location was perfect, a 10 minute walk from the shops, bars and clubs meant we didn't need a taxi anywhere and we weren't affected by the noise of the actual clubs on the night. The pool is small but that's in line with the size of the hotel, even though it was small it never felt over crowded and sunbeds were usually available. The in-hotel bar and café has a decent selection of drinks and food, all very reasonably priced, making it worthwhile to stay in the hotel as opposed to hoping for a good deal elsewhere.
Overall for the price you're paying, don't expect luxurious rooms, you get the basics, but it's all kept clean and in good condition and if that's what you're looking for, it's perfect.

As for the resort, the night life is fantastic and we all had a brilliant week. Quiet week away? Not a chance.

We were two 32 year olds who had never been to tenerife so we decided to stay in hacienda de sol as on all web sights it says that it is near to veronicas strip. We found it very centrally located to the night life however we did not hear any noise. The Staff we very friendly and helpfull esp the night porter. We did get one small cockroach but that was all. The only down side was a smell in the bathroom but we visited a lot of hotels and resteraunts and they seemed to be the same way. Would stay for the location and the staff the luxury no as its studio appartments are very basic but you get what you pay for.

These apartments are in an ideal location for the nightlife but need a complete refurb,the apartments themselves are a decent size but the walls are paper thin and the shower was crap. i would say it would be suitable for young people but definately not families or older people.The reception staff were helpful enough but cleaners not that brilliant,they say they change towels 6 times a week but twice we went back to our apartment after the maid had been in and she had just put our used towels on the airer on the balcony!
Basically if you are just looking for a roof over your head close to the nightlife and not bothered about noise then its ideal.
We wouldnt really choose to stay here again but if it was cheap then we would consider it.
