Well where to start!!

FOOD was hot every time i went up...My partner and I were on a board basis of all inclusive, so that was 3 times a day. Always a variety, something for everyone...Vegetarians no problem. Different food everyday. I saw someone said it was basic?? Not at all, they always have some kind of potato, pasta etc for fussy eaters, also stuff for the more 'adventurous' type, such as lobster soup, haddock & cod in various sauces, cottage pie. Always healthy sides of vegetables and salads. Couldn't fault it really.

STAFF are all very friendly. whether your in the restaurant, by the pool or at reception. All speak English which is handy. The cleaners came to mine and my partners room every day. They speak a little English. They understand everything you may need to ask them like 'Towel'.

HOTEL in general is lovely, My partner and I had a lovely sea view, Great value for money. There is something for everyone their. Guests of all ages join in with the entertainment such as the mini disco, Bingo, Quizzes. and has a laugh whilst doing it. everyone gets on great. Entertainment is great for children too. in the daytime and evenings. There are always games on like football, tennis, basketball, badminton, the list could go on. In the evenings the hotel hold shows where parrots do tricks and they hold snake shows and all sorts. My partner and I had such a good time in the hotel in the evening we didn't feel the need to check out the clubs. We had a great laugh with everyone in the hotel.

GENERAL AREA of the hotel is convenient. Beach is a 10minute walk away. easy to find, straight ahead from the shops then a turning right. Shop owners are very friendly and welcoming too. Although like the other hotels in Playa de las Americas the hotel is situated on a slight hill. So if you have walking problems then maybe Playa de las Americas isn't the place for you. I wouldn't put this down as a disadvantage to the hotel like some guests have because it is a general thing for this area. If you are going on a family holiday and have small children there is a water park (Aqua land) right opposite the hotel, literally not even 10seconds away. There are loads of shops where you can buy excursions. We did the Whale and Dolphin sight seeing. Perfect weather, such a lovely trip. Got very close to the dolphins they were swimming past the boat. We also had the chance to dive off the boat and go swimming in the ocean where my partner went snorkeling and had a wonderful time. I have loads of pictures i will be putting up.

Same time last year we tried Lanzarote and found it was quite windy and hot, but in comparison Tenerife is much hotter and not windy at all. Probably because of the surrounding mountains shielding it. MUCH prefer Tenerife.

Id Definately recommend the hotel. I intend on going back later on in the summer and taking my family with me!!

Just back from 1 week AI, very disappointed with the place in general. Bed slats broke on second night, i reported it to reception and the guy abruptly took the room number, gave no apology and said ok and dismissed me with a wave of his hand. The rooms were not cleaned properly, there was enough fluff under the beds to stuff a cushion and clean towels were in very short supply and full of holes. Food was of a poor standard and usually cold. some staff were not at all friendly. TV'S were coin operated, what a con!!
Thank heaven we had good weather and the pool was good, but not very user friendly for people with disabilities. getting in and out of the pool is not easy.
We made the best of it, but won't be going back.

although the complex was clean it needed a serious coat of paint inside and out,
The rooms were very basic not even a kettle! the paint was flaking from the ceiling in the bathroom while you showered! The music blasted by the pool from 11am - 3.30 pm the you had the disco every evening until midnight followed by the raucous behaviour and cat fights until the early hours

Please do not go to this hotel, the picture's on the internet aren't pictures of the hotel. They seem to be nice on the internet but the opposite is the truth!!! We went there in Feb of this year ( 2 adults and 4 small childeren) the moment we where there our room wasn't ready yet so we had to wait for almost 1 hour or we could look to 3 rooms and choose one out, so we did. We didn't wanted to wait, we picked a room but we had to walk 8 stairs up and down ( and the say it's a childfriendly hotel yeah right!!!!) After arrival in our room we had to wait about two ours to get our suitcases, and again an other point of dissepointment. Sitting in the restaurant having our meal ( wich was disgusting ) the waiters wanted to trow us out because we werent wairing the brace ( wich we didn't received while we where looking for our rooms, because we where'nt cheked in at the proper way untill leaving!!!)

Need to here more??? The cleaning of the rooms ( there wasn't any cleaning to make up our beds put some towels, witch where full of holes!! Whe had to call them ourself to get towels and toiletpaper. We don't call that cleaning!!! In the evening times you can site on your balconny and enjoy the sunset but you have to look out for the coccroaches they are as bis as mices ( I'm not over reacting, they where huge!!!).
Because we booked our vacation for 2 weeks whe where forced to enjoy ourself wich we did but from the people who work in that hotel we didn't expeccted anything. the people who work there dont even know how they have to talk to the people who are guests the hotel, they scold out to my 8 year old in English an me daughter does not understand English because we are Dutch and that is the way that we have been treated.

Don't WAIST YOUR MONEY TO THIS HOTEL THERE ALL LOTS OF MORE AND AT THAT HOTELS THE PEOPLE DO CARE OF THERE GUESTS
