This was our third visit to the Vulcano and hopefully it wont be our last. The hotel is in a good location close to shops, bars and not too far from the beach. Food is very good and lots of variety, rooms comfortable and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. My husband and myself both feel this hotel suits the more mature person with the sister hotel Bitacora more suited to families.

Have visited this hotel regularly as my husband is wheelchair bound,our holiday is made worry free as we know the accomodation will fit my hubands needs,the rooms we use are adapted for wheelchair users. In my case it is so nice to come to a hotel where service is still an important factor,not just in the main dining room but also in the pool restaurant you are treated as a respected and welcome guest,always greeted with a smile! The food is good and varied for all nationalities,and fresh fruit is always available at breakfast and evening meals. the maids who clean your rooms are quick and leave your room smelling sweetly! We return from this holiday always feeling relaxed with batteries recharged,ready to book the next visit.

This is an excellent hotel which i have enjoyed on many occasions. Superb location close to beach, bars and shops but quiet also. Food is varied and plentiful while service is friendly and efficient. Clean and good attention to detail. Pool area is not best feature but is good enough to enjoy with nice little bar/cafe. Fully recommend.

As other s have stated the service in the bar is a very poor customer friendly experience, it is more convenient to drink at the outside bars. It is a very complicated system where you order your drinks off one waiter and eventually get served by another and all drinks are charged to your room which you settle the evening before your departure, on one occasion I had to wait 20 minutes for my order to arrive. If this system is changed I would definitely return to the Vulcano
