Great location of the hotel, landscape insane, almost everywhere. Clean the rooms excellent, cleaned every day, exchanged our towels and sheets every other day, although in our opinion, this was not konieczne.Obsługa helpful, speaking in perfect English, very nice. Hotel very good price

Every night was a noisy one from local night clubs until 3.00-5.00am when it stopped. OK if your a night owl, not too good if you need to get up for a tee time. (Golf). Typical mass catering food, all self service, good choice but the hot stuff was barely warm. Room OK even though the Telly was of the tube type and only CNN and BBC world service in English, but you don't spend your hols in the room! Hotel staff and reception were excellent, friendly and helpful. Parking for our hire car was limited but available spaces on nearby local roads. We would use taxis next time. If you like "Blackpool" in the sun then this is an ideal location, right in the middle of it. If you want peace try somewhere else. Only one power point, the telly, so charging equipment was callenging. No free internet access anywhere. Internet accsee cost 4 euros per hour for access.

We have just returned from a good trip to Tenerife. The location is great if your not worried about noise at night. Veronicas strip is next door and most rooms will hear it going on to 6am. We didn't worry as we went out till early hours and had no trouble sleeping. If you can't beat them, join them - we did and had a great time. Food is ok at the start of the holiday but gets boring after day 3. Tip - sit in the partially open restuarant as it is less hectic as the noise from cuttlery and plates is far less, (the Veronicas is silent night compared to this...) just watch out being barged by over zealous elderly folk from foreign land, god they push in, so stand your ground - we did. All in all we had a good week - do the biking down Teide and good local bar (after 12am) is the Anchor - lively Karaoke. For those wanting a quieter time it is totally different before.

This dated hotel is most disappointing. It has rooms with the most basic amenities and shabby furniture. It is a long time since I had to watch a black & white television, too, with the only English channel being BBC World. The entrance is in a sort of hole where buses and taxis come down a steep, curving ramp and there many steps to get up to street level where the cafes and shops are and is bereft of any view out. We only had buffet breakfast and it was good with choices to suit all European tastes ( but no porridge!! ) but the dining room was like a large cafe in a big store, with no tablecloths and the usual hunt for a table. We didn't use the pools but they looked good and led out to the promenade. The room had a balcony with a table and chairs giving a superb sea view and this we enjoyed during the day.
BUT the room overlooks the Veronicas - a set of clubs and cafés which make lots of noise at night and one night went on until 03.30 after which sleep was possible and another 2 nights until after midnight. Don't use this hotel if you want to go to bed and sleep as per normal life! And the hotel is not really in Playa de Las Americas which is a 15 minute walk away and is so different. The immediate area has British pubs and cafés for folks who want to pretend that they are still in at home and English breakfasts are on offer everywhere. The Wigan Arms? Irish and Scottish pubs? Not for me!
