“A nice place to stay.... very reasonable”

Sorry for the late review!!! We stayed here last August. Had a lovely apartment overlooking the pool. Had everything you needed in the apartment, a TV, a fridge, kettle toaster etc. The only thing it didnt have was air conditioning and it was very hot in August..... but we managed!!! Mind you at night you had to sleep with the doors open and noise travels at night so it was very noisy at kicking out from the pubs time. I had to go to reception on a couple of occasions in my pj's to ask the night guard to tell the offenders to reduce the decibels a little.... mind you they were quick to do this. Apartments cleaned regularly..... all staff really friendly.

The pool area was very nice but as it was a cheap place to stay you got a few groups of "young uns" a bit too much of swearing round the pool for my liking, especially as I had a child with me. Mind you the one who was swearing the most was a middle aged drunken woman!!!!!

Happy hour is good at the pool bar.... should be a happy two hours though!! Meals were nice... quick.....very tasty and very reasonable.

Reception helped you with whatever you wanted. We booked our trips from there and the prices were very competative. We booked Loro Parque and Siam Park double ticket which saved you dosh.... both parks were fab... A long day at Loro Parque though.. about 1 1/2 hours on the coach. The free buses to Siam Park quickly fill up so we found it best to get a taxi up there for 9.30... the queues start building up really quickly. We got in early and managed to do all the slides before the queues got too big. Got a sunbed by the beach and a locker not to far away. Caught the free bus back.

A very good excursion company on the front between Las Americas and Los Cristianos... Jewsus excursions... offered lots of discounts... we did a really good 5 hour boat trip with them, free food and as much to drinks as you liked and also a couple of stops to swim. Saw loads of whales and dolphins.

Overall a lovely place to stay with lovely helpful staff.

“First Class!”

After reading such good reviews before we went, I hoped I hadn't set my expectations too high, but I hadn't.

My sister and I stayed in a studio on the third floor overlooking the lovely pool area. The studio was big and very clean. Cleaners did a good job and even tidied up our stuff.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Their English is very good. Jose at reception was lovely and so, so helpful with explaining where to get buses, what attractions to visit, and even warned us to bring jackets with us when we visited the north in case it rained. Tommy, the barman/cook at the pool bar was very nice. He was always very happy and chatty, and seemed genuinely interested in our holiday. Turns out Tommy's originally from Antrim in Northern Ireland, which explains his accent!

We ate breakfast at the pool bar and it was very nice and it was cheap. Also got snacks like burgers and chips which were good.

We got the 450 bus from the airport, which departs every half hour I think. It stops close to the hotel. However, we weren't sure when exactly to get off so we kept look out after the stop in Los Christianos and saw the apartments as we passed it on the left and just pressed the button to get off at the next stop. It cost less than 2€.

Siam Park is great fun. There is a free bus that takes you there and departs from the Best Tenerife hotel about a 5min walk away. Make sure you check which number the bus is because there is more than one route. We didnt realise this and got on a bus after our day at Siam Park and ended up at the other side of town!

We bought the Twin Ticket for Loro Parque and Siam Park at reception, but you can buy them in lots of places. It's 55€ and so saves a bit of money rather buying individual tickets.

Loro Parque is also another good day out. There is a bus that goes there, but there is a charge.

We visited Monkey Park and felt very disappointed. Lots of monkeys were caged and we just felt sorry for them. The monkeys that were free to run around and that you could feed weren't interested in being fed. There's such a contrast between this park and the way the animals are kept in Loro Parque which is very much into conservation.

I would highly recommend these apartments and definitely stay again.
