Sorry for the late review!!! We stayed here last August. Had a lovely apartment overlooking the pool. Had everything you needed in the apartment, a TV, a fridge, kettle toaster etc. The only thing it didnt have was air conditioning and it was very hot in August..... but we managed!!! Mind you at night you had to sleep with the doors open and noise travels at night so it was very noisy at kicking out from the pubs time. I had to go to reception on a couple of occasions in my pj's to ask the night guard to tell the offenders to reduce the decibels a little.... mind you they were quick to do this. Apartments cleaned regularly..... all staff really friendly.
The pool area was very nice but as it was a cheap place to stay you got a few groups of "young uns" a bit too much of swearing round the pool for my liking, especially as I had a child with me. Mind you the one who was swearing the most was a middle aged drunken woman!!!!!
Happy hour is good at the pool bar.... should be a happy two hours though!! Meals were nice... quick.....very tasty and very reasonable.
Reception helped you with whatever you wanted. We booked our trips from there and the prices were very competative. We booked Loro Parque and Siam Park double ticket which saved you dosh.... both parks were fab... A long day at Loro Parque though.. about 1 1/2 hours on the coach. The free buses to Siam Park quickly fill up so we found it best to get a taxi up there for 9.30... the queues start building up really quickly. We got in early and managed to do all the slides before the queues got too big. Got a sunbed by the beach and a locker not to far away. Caught the free bus back.
A very good excursion company on the front between Las Americas and Los Cristianos... Jewsus excursions... offered lots of discounts... we did a really good 5 hour boat trip with them, free food and as much to drinks as you liked and also a couple of stops to swim. Saw loads of whales and dolphins.
Overall a lovely place to stay with lovely helpful staff.
