We stayed at this residence on half term February. The residence is clean and tidy, rooms were big enough and functional, all with balcony.
Ski room would do with bit more space.
Residence is at the top of Valmeinier (1850) and close to skislopes. All shops available nearby.
However, if you happen to be down at the slope base after skilifts shuts , you need to take the incredibly small skibus to go back (every 30 mins), we found this to be ridicolous, but I guess it is not the residence fault. At night, there is no skibus so there is a long walk down and unfortunately a long steep walk up, especially if you have young kids.
Sleeping is ok, being averagely priced, it attracts also group of youngsters but they were not too bad after all.
The bad point we really found was that reception opens at 4pm for just 2-3 hours on arrival, therefore we could not check in until 4pm. trouble is that there were other 50 or more families/groups that had to checkin in a small reception area, so yes, that was a bit of a nightmare. it would be better startin checking in people from 1 or 2 pm as they turn up.
Swimming pool is in the opposite block, so if you interested to it, when you book, ask for a room in the pool block.
There is free internet in the reception area.
Fitness room is not free. Swimming is free.
