We stayed for a week in January 2006. The apartments were very central and convenient for the slopes, bars and restaurants but our room (and many others) faced onto the resort's lower car park. Every night we were awoken by singing drunks waiting for taxis or hanging out after the bars close at 3 or 4am and by the dump truck, which collects from the buildings surrounding the car park between 3 and 5am each day, complete with reversing signal. The people in the next room had the same experience as I'm sure others facing the car park did. The hotel and the travel agent were apologetic but unable to offer an alternative room. The accomodation itself was pretty average, a small studio purportedly for four. It was suitable for a couple but a bit tight if you have children and very, very tight for four adults. If you choose Maeva, I strongly recommend you specify a room away from the car park.
