Our studio, in the Selenes block, for 4 adults struggled to cope with 3. Unless you are very good friends, I would suggest opting for one of the larger apartments. For bed arrangements there was one pull out double sofa bed, another sofa that you pulled the cover off to reveal a bed and then a pull out job from under the 2nd sofa. Once all the beds were out you would struggle to see the carpet and night-time toilet visits became a bit of an obstacle course. Loads of hot water available for showers and there was a tiny but well equiped kitchen.
From the Silenes block there was a 5 -10 minute walk to/from the ski lifts, unless you can find the path which knocks a few minutes off. Failing that, the regular bus stops right outside on the way there, and nearby on the way back. The bus runs every 15 mins, but be careful on the way back as you will end up going via Plagne Bellecote and Plagne Centre before you get back to Plagne 1800.
There was a handy nearby Spar and a nice Pizzeria just down the hill.
The only real problem was with the in-room wifi access. It was a bit hit and miss and, although the reception folks were all really nice and tried to be helpful, they were unable to as wifi support is via a French telephone support line. If you do have wifi problems it might cost a lot to get any problems sorted out via your mobile.
If you fancy it, there is an outside pool available for your use at the main Maeva building.
Would I go back, the answer would be yes, but I might opt for a larger apartment, depending on who I am with.
