“Average hotel, would not stay there again.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

The street the hotel is on is scummy, smelly and has lots of rubbish. After a couple days, we used staff entrance so we didn't have to go past all the rubbish, also took off about 5 minutes when walking to restaurants etc. Rooms are average. Had dramas with our air con, it kept switching off. after 3 sleepless nites and about 4 or 5 attempts of them fixing it was finally sorted. we did not drink there at all, the cheeky buggers wanted 100,000rp for a large Bintang, before 21% tax that is!! When u can buy one from mini mart for 24,000rp!!! the WiFi was also pretty average, not only did they charge for it but we could not connect on our own computer, had to go to lobby and use theirs. the pool was also closed for 2 or 3 days, I would not stay here again.

“Enjoyable stay at the Risata”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

We stayed at the Risata for 8 Days - We were a family of 4 and we really enjoyed our time there. From the time we arrived we were greeted with friendly amazing staff. The rooms were excellent, clean and tidy. We had inter-connecting room which was excellent as we had children. Both rooms had views facing beautiful gardens. Nothing was too much trouble and every request we made was completed very quickly.
The staff were amazing, especially Ayu, who made our stay extra special by remembering our names at breakfast each day.
The breakfast each morning was great, plenty to choose from. Other meals in the hotel were excellent and well presented including room service and the service we received was exceptional. My family tell me the Seafood night was (Tempura to die for).
Definitely worth staying at and out of the hustle and bustle of Kuta but only a short walk to the Plaza.

Found Risata to be a really good value all rounder-our room was clean and spacious, staff friendly and efficient.
Wifi access is where they could make an improvement, but all in all a nice place to stay.

“Clean and comfortable :)”

RBRS was beautiful - check out the villas and gardens; the staffs were very helpful (fast check-in/check-out, friendly - despite the language barrier) and attentive, the rooms - clean and comfortable.

Location-wise, this resort might quite far from famous tourist destinations in Bali, but I'd recommend it to families, honeymooners and girlfriends on holidays.

“A breath of fresh air”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

We had been put up here for one night by Garuda Indonesia after our flight was cancelled, and we were quite pleasantly surprised.

While we didn't stay long enough to enjoy what looked like great resort facilities, like the spa and pool, we did eat dinner and breakfast at the hotel's dining area.

But first up, the rooms. The room was clean and attractively furnished, but the air-conditioning was a bit inadequate. In any case, the beds were made with fresh sheets and as a special touch, we were escorted to our rooms by the porter with an umbrella sheltering us as it was pouring. I had a good night's sleep, which was, I suppose, all that I needed at the time.

The resort grounds are extremely well kept and attractive, with many lush tropical plants and gardens throughout. The foyer/dining area is well designed, being a semi-open design to the open air, while still remaining at a bearable temperature inside.

Dinner was good without being outstanding, as was breakfast. I ordered a fried rice dish with a few other bits and pieces, washed down with some fresh guava juice which was very nice.

Its location is also very convenient, being only around 10 minutes from the airport.

Overall, a very pleasant stay and is recommended for anyone staying in Denpasar.

Room Tip: The further in you go, the less noisy it is.
