We stayed one night in Posada dos Orillas in September 2008. We paid 75 euros + 7% VAT for a double room. the hotel is located up the hill in the old mediaeval Trujillo, so be careful when driving your car as the streets are very narrow. The hotel has a couple of parking spaces in a street nearby, otherwise you may be able to park your car in a square a little bit further down.
We should have probably asked for a twin room (although they may not have them). The double bed was quite small (normal for Spanish standards but hey, we are taller than your average Spaniard) and the room felt poky. The air conditioning hit directly over the bed, even if we pointed the air flow to the ceiling. Because then it hit the ceiling and bang down to the bed. There was an emergency light which could not be switched off and left the room in a bright orange glow all night long. Because the bed was too small for us, we had quite a bad night. On the other hand, one can tell the owners have tried hard to decorate the place with taste, with individual touches and each room has a name, not a number. There is also a nice patio where breakfast is served and dinner too, when the restaurant is open.
It was clear that the hotel was fully booked most of the days and that guests enjoy the place. Unfortunately, it didn't work for us. The most important thing in a hotel room is the bed, and this one was too small for us.
