When I first walked in I thought the Hotel wreaked of smoke, unsure what that was.. I stayed a week as I work nights and travel. On the 3rd or 4th day, I finally got the manager to understand that I don't get in until 8:00 in the morning, sometimes later. So when I would arrive at the room, the towels would be gone, or the shower curtain was gone and all it meant was a trip back to the front desk to get what I needed, then on to shower and sleep. I would just get to sleep and there would be a knock at the door for housekeeping.. Woke me up.. I realize the majority of the people work days, but when you specifically ask that you prefer not to be bothered in the morning, that is what you expect. Overall stay wasn't bad, manager was friendly, finally told the cleaning people when to be at my room. You might want to throw a can of Febreeze in, coz the rooms smell musty. Very nice pool, nice location, great chinese eating next door, truck parking..
Washer and Dryer on 3rd floor, seem maintained, but extremely warm up there, but has elevator.

Our stay at your hotel on our last visit to McKinney wasn't as we'd planned. We booked two rooms, #227 & 228. Upon arriving(Friday, June 3, @ approx. 3:00a.m.) the room(s) appeared clean but upon getting ready for a shower the towels in (228) had soil spots on them. The room wasn't clean the next day (Friday, June 3rd) and as for 227 none of the cups were replinished after they'd been used. The room wasn't entered nor clean on Friday June 3rd. Two individuals in room 228 were bitten and red spots appeared on back, legs and arms (Sunday afternoon).

hotel has gone down hill since my first stay a few years ago. this trip we found stained towels, dirty toilets, musty smokey hallway and elevator. it wasn't until we returned home that we noticed the red itchy spots and this was the only hotel we had been in and only place they could have come from. yes bed bugs. i'm writing this note at 4:00a.m. because i am sooo upset by this that now i have to call an exterminator and pay well over the cost of going to hotel that would've cost a few dollars more a night and would had allowed me to be asleep right now so that i can be rested before going back to work after my vacation, but no i stayed here. this is my first ever review of a hotel and i want to make sure that if you stay here you are aware. i will always read the reviews of future hotels and other things from the people who don't have a steak on the item. i wish i would've read the previous persons comments about the bed bugs before i booked my reservation. that won't happen again. thanks super 8 mckinney.

Frist thing I was lost and from out of town traveling with wife and three dogs small ones. The Manager on the cell Was so patient and gave clear easy directions. When we came in the front door My wife commented the couch in the loby was the same as ours. They were so helpfull and curtious the price for us was a bargan including the dogs. Still it was like they were our extended family so very friendly and sweet . it is a great place to stay!!!!.
