I made a reservation to stay at this hotel for business travel. When my company changed my travel dates- I called and cancelled the reservation FOUR days in advance-well within their policy. Spoke with the GM Cynthia personally to do this. Imagine my surprise the next week when I see charges on my VISA for Sunsuites of Lewisville. I called and was told a "mistake" had been made and my card was being credited back at that time. Needless to say when I checked the next day no credit put back on my VISA. I called and spoke with the "General manager" Cynthia-reminding her that she personally took my call to cancel my reservations four days in advance. She was rude and said my card had been credited. I told her it had not and I would be glad to provide documentation-she hung up on me. This woman debited my VISA in violation of their cancellation policy and acted like I was a jerk for bringing it to her attention and for continuing to contact her over the unauthorized charges. Bottom line I had to drive almost two hours to get this corrected nd this was the most unprofessional general manager I have ever dealt with. DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION AND GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER-if you cancel well within their timeframe-you may be charged anyway. It happened to me.
