We needed a room for just one night and booked one here online. Price was fairly average, maybe on the bottom half of the comparable hotels. Location was hard to find; there's no tall sign like the other hotels on the street, and we passed it several times. Finally saw it on top of a hill with a small driveway and sign on the main road (partially hidden by a small retaining wall). Plenty of parking, and the check-in staff was very courteous. The room (single king) was surprisingly spacious. Everything was clean and tidy including the bathroom. Bed was pretty standard hotel-style. I didn't really like the feel of the sheets (polyester-cotton blend??), but slept fine nonetheless. Shower was hot and had good water pressure. Didn't try breakfast, pool, or fitness room. In the end, it was really all I needed and nothing more - just a place to sleep for 6 hours and a hot shower.

I was greeted with a smile and information about the hotel. My king bed room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Plenty of free parking available. The fitness room was very minimal, but had the treadmill I needed for a running workout. I asked for a quiet room and got one. The hotel is on a hill and I enjoyed watching the sun set behind the hills of Kerrville. I would stay here again if I get the chance to.

Upon entering the hotel, we were pleased to find a polished lobby and professional, friendy host behind the counter. The room was extremely large and comfortable. The breakfast offered something for everyone. We especially enjoyed the hot eggs and biscuits. The breakfast hostess was efficient, as there were quite a few people, and kept the food coming!"

This was one of the worst Holiday Inns I've stayed in. Our room was filthy! It was obvious that the carpet had not been vaccumed and the bath tub was brown with dirt. The curtains were ripped in several places, the ceiling and walls were cracked with water damage and there was a roach in our bathroom.
The only good thing I can say was that the breakfast was pretty good. We will NOT stay at the Holiday Inn in Kerrville again.
