Having stayed at other Holiday Inn Express locations, I do not feel this hotel lives up to the name. It definitely does not live up to the $ amount they charge. When we arrived, we could not get any luggage out of our car without having several bugs jump on us, climb on us, and jump inside our car. We had to flick several bugs off of us once we were in the lobby of the hotel. The front desk clerk acted as if this was perfectly normal. Several times during the night I was woken up by the other hotel guests, including some that honked their horn at 2:30 in the morning. The next morning, we noticed dried mud in the hallway and the lobby of the hotel and a coffee cup left in the elevator. The staff was not busy and could have taken care of the mud, but they sat on the couch instead. When we left, I again had problems with the large numbers of bugs in the parking lot trying to hitch a ride in my car. We had to deal with the bugs in the car for the rest of our trip. I can understand having problems with bugs in the parking lot, but this was ridiculous, it was like something out of a horror movie. I mentioned it to the front desk again when checking out, but they didn't care.

This is a very nice hotel the staff is all very nice, the rooms are so big and beautiful. We were so surprised how great this hotel was as we had just left a horrible one right around the corner from it! Im so glad they had a cancellation so we could stay here! Next time down there this is our first stop!!!

I was on my way to Corpus Christi and decided to stop in Pleasanton, explore a bit on my bike, spend the evening then head on in the morning. This hotel was a very nice surprise to find in a nice little town. Very well appointed, friendly and helpful staff, spotless. I cannot say enough good things about my one night there. Had a nice bike ride too!
