We loved it! We stayed in a cabana near the beutiful pool, but were able to visit most of the other cabins. I really wanted to stay on the Steam boat or in the caboose, but we were very happy with the cabana. The innkeepers were very pleasant and gave us a private tour of the place. Breakfast was very good. We would definately go back. We just need to find a time to get away from 4 kids!

“An OK Stay”

This B&B was ok. We liked having our own little cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed the pool.

The innkeeper was a little uptight and had lots of rules.

Jefferson is a cute little town -- very peaceful and relaxing.

My husband and I have just returned from a "romantic" weekend at the Maison Bayou Bed and Breakfast. I use the term "Bed and Breakfast" only because they do. We had no breakfast (they had taken Jan and Feb off), and the bed left a lot to be desired. We normally enjoy rustic cabins in the woods, but this was anything but enjoyable and definitely overpriced. It was either freezing cold or burning hot all the time because of a little electric heater they represented as a fireplace. It was ridiculously small. Cold air came up through the floor. The grounds around the place were not well-kept and junky looking. We had booked and paid for two nights, but we left after the first night. I definitely would not recommended this place to anybody. It was very disappointing.
