My friend and I were going to attend a concert at the nearby Arena Theater and needed a place to stay. The Crowne Plaza is just south of the theater. Check-in was quick and the young man that helped us was very upbeat and pleasant. The welcome bag was a nice touch. We were giving the 8th floor and said it would be very quiet. Our room was very spacious with a separate living room area with a sofa,desk, flat screen tv and wet bar. The bedroom also had a flat screen tv and a desk with a mirror. The bed linens were very crisp and super comfortable. We had dinner at the Sierra Grille on the main lobby floor which was very affordable and tasty. I have no complaints at all with this location. Everything was fine and I would definately return. There are so many hotels in Houston~If you need one in this part of town, you should consider this establishment. They aim to please and they do! :)

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service at this hotel, where I stayed after a long, tough road trip. It was a great place to recuperate from being on the road. The staff was fantastic, and they addressed any issue/question I had without hesitation.
They arranged for a car and driver to and from the airport. The shuttle to the Galleria mall is on a timed schedule in the evenings But I found that because I was the only person going, they worked around my timetable.
My suite was spacious and verry well appointed and the bed was very comfortable and the hotel, generally, was quiet. The quality of food in the Restaurant was good.
I Have to say it was the perfect place to put myself back together after a long road trip. Would recommend it for anybody looking for a bit of pampering ...

This is my third stay at his Hotel. Once again they impressed me. The staff, the food, the comfortable beds, the excellent business center and the great gym. There is no better value for money in Houston.

I travel extensively and am used to the surly staff attitudes at some hotels but ..Wow this is a great hotel and staff is SUPERB !! From the first greeting at the front desk the staff was always polite with a smile on there face with a relax demeaner that didn't seem forced. Shows that there must be a good supervisorary staff also that workers seem to like being there. The room was nice and always stocked every day with excellent in room coffee and water. The resteraunt was also very good I was able to try it on two occasions and the Room service which was very fast.
Like to thank Delfina for her proffesionalism and her helpfulness in attending to my room requests . Many times during my eight day stay she helped out and kept my room spotless. Edgar & Mathew at the front desk were awesome as well. I would recommend this hotel for any business traveler
