My aunt looked at this hotel for our family reunion stay. All I can say is that they must have shown her the only room that WAS clean. Our room was filthy dirty ! I had my great grandson with me and we asked if a roll away would be available when we got there. We were told when we got there that we had to reserve the roll away at the time we made the reservations. My mother had to go sleep on my aunt's couch because there was no room. They gave our room away to someone that wanted by the pool and we were stuck in front with the sun beaming in! Another reason my mother chose not to stay. This was the most disguting bathroom I've ever seen and the carpet was just as dirty. None of us dared to take our socks off. If you don't mind filth at home, then you'll be comfortable here. For me, I'll take a chain anyday. If the people that checked us in were the owners, they were extremely rude and need to work on their people skills. There's nicer NEW hotels on the same street. Stop at one of them. You WON'T be sorry!

Tub and tile were disgusting !!!! MOLD in tile grout and under clear handles. Room charges were different for different people. Several from our family reunion stayed here and room rates were different.

My socks were black within 15 minutes of walking on the filthy carpet.

Refused refunds to some that refused to stay after they saw the rooms. I stayed 1 night and went to the Comfort Inn down the street. The rate was higher.....but, WORTH IT!!!

Do yourself and your health a favor and DON'T STAY HERE!!!

In room fridge & Microwave in room is nice
Sheets, pillows, bed was good
Helpful staff

Bad:
Dirty, stained bathtub enclosure. Clear handles in tub were acutally filled with balck mold or mildew.
Bedspread old, pilled, burned - had to take it off to sleep
Rate is actually $71/night, not $61

Would always rather patronize a non-chain motel but next time I'd make sure the bathroom was clean and I'd leave if I could not get a clean one.

Good motel for the price. Clean room, working a/c-heater, safe wooded area, friendly service.
