“Horrible Service”

I came to town for training. The front desk clerk was polite upon check in but when I called later in the evening because there were no towels in my room, I was told I would have to come to the front desk if I wanted them. when I complained to management the next morning, they were polite to my face but I heard them as they came around the corner that I was a lazy & annoying...there were a few other choice words. I will not be staying here again. I told my company that made the reservations & we will not be sending any other employees to this hotel. I understand the front desk clerk cannot leave post but there is no reason to be rude and management should be setting an example for their employees instead of belittling their guests. Very unprofessional & tacky. The room was disgusting as well & the coffee was cold at the coffee bar at 7am.

“Old- Not Very Clean”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2009

Rooms were old and not very clean. Maybe we got an older wing. Was informed that breakfast was 6-9 at check in. Went in just past 8.00 and was told it closed at 8.00 that day because it was Thanksgiving (It was posted outside the breakfast area but reception never informed us.)

“Don't stay here!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2009

My husband and I were looking for moderate accommodations; nothing fancy but no cockroaches. We settled on the Quality Inn along I-30. We arrived to be put in a smoking room which was not what we our indicated on our on-line reservation booking. The entire room of the floor was wet. Since we wouldn't be in the room the majority of our weekend, we opted to not make a fuss. Each time we arrived back to our room, our room key would not work and we had to go downstairs and get our room key re-swiped. My favorite moment was when I went downstairs to ask for more toilet paper and the front desk clerk states, "You're in luck! Walk down to the end of the hall in building one and go past the ice machine to Housekeeping. Knock on the door and hopefully someone will answer."
I never expected to have hotel staff come up to the room but this was ridiculous. What was the lucky part of that equation...that she didn't have to go and get it? There were multiple other issues but I wanted to point out the main ones and encourage future travelers to avoid making the same mistake we did.

“Fine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 February 2009

Rooms are clean (had a handicapped room - so it was very roomy) and even had a cute door leading to pool area. I heard hotel was newly renovated (guy should be shot if that is the case because my hotel had huge chunks of carpet cut out - and remodeling shoddy) - but this was not a big deal. Hotel itself is old - hallways smell bad - so I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice clean room. I am not staying in the hallway - so I dont care if it smells. Would stay here again.

  • Liked — Nice, clean rooms
  • Disliked — shoddy remodeling - not a big deal since room was clean

“Love It”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2007

I truly enjoyed this hotel. Everyone was so friendly. The room was very clean, and the bed was so comfy! I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends.

I would stay again! I loved the fact that the bar was on site I did not have to worry about driking and driving because I was home already!
