Clean and comfortable, easy access, no hassles. We stayed here for a visit to Holiday In The Park at Six Flags Over Texas in nearby Arlington (in December 2010), an easy 10-minute drive north via local Rt 360, and to see the new Tron flick in 3-D at a local mall - the real roller coasters were far better kicks than the virtual ride of a long and bloated techie movie, BTW. We use the Super 8 discount chain often, and this one was well above average, for overall condition and service. The rooms are not exactly sound-proof like most places at this price level, but it was clean and comfortable. Good sunny breakfast bar, kids liked the Texas giant waffle maker (adult supervision required). Note that there is a much different, much older, much less pleasant Super 8 at 402 East Palace Parkway, Grand Prairie near Ripley's and Tussaud's (north and east of Six Flags off I-30) which is sometimes confused in listings, for this newer and nicer facility off I-20 (we've stayed at both, and there is a very discernible difference, despite the chain affiliation and price parity). Plenty of fast food and retail chains within walking distance. Desk help was very friendly and attentive. Wifi was a little iffy at times, on our notebooks. Plenty of free parking within room view. Overall a better cheaper place to sleep, when doing DFW activities including Cowboys Stadium and Rangers games.
