This is a standard La Quinta: clean, comfortable room. No fridge or microwave. Quiet. Nice staff, good breakfast.

Older property with outside doors. Rooms clean, comfortable, & quiet except for occasional car outside door. Very friendly staff, missed the bagels & cream cheese & yogurt at breakfast, but offered ample amt of bread for toast, fruit, eggs & cereal. Very pet friendly. Good for a stopover on a road trip.

Hate to write a bad review for a La Quinta as we have always found them to be top notch, but not this one. The beds, living space and toilet were clean, BUT the tub had quite a bit of mold around the edge and soap dish and looked like under the bath mat too, but I didn't want to touch it. The over flow drain was all rusty. The bath tub faucet was all rotted out where the water comes out. We even passed on showers, it was too yucky. I took pictures to send to corporate, but they probably won't care. This place has very poor maintenance standards. The beds were comfy. We won't be staying at this LQ on our return trip home. All the other LQs we have stayed at on our trip across Interstate 10 have been great. Ft. Stockton is a run down town, you might want to pass it by all together.

Stopped at the La Quinta Inn while coming back from the Big Bend National Park. It was better than expected. It's pretty cozy and clean. Breakfast with waffles, fruits, and some basic continental breakfast items. Not very impressive but good enough for people on a road trip.
