This hotel was the closest I could get to the convention center without paying downtown rates. It's proximity to the Anatole and Doubletree show that it's in a respectable location and you can shoot down Market street in a hurry.
Past this, there's not a whole lot good to say. Burglar bars on the room windows and "lock your car signs" show there's been some problems. The rooms, though clean, show a lot of wear and tear and the continental breakfast was pretty sparse. Overall, I've stayed in nicer Motel 6's.

This hotel has no frills, but is reasonably priced. It's mostly clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. It's location is not bad, it's next door to A Dennys restaurant and at the top of the road is a bus stop where you can catch a half hourly bus downtown. The buses stop at 9pm, but there are other buses that run later and drop you about a 10 minute walk away (ask for details at the downtown bus station).

So I was at a conference in the area when I found this hotel online. The price was great and the location accomidating. However, when I got to this hotel I thought I was staying at a hooker hotel with the hooker waiting for me. The place is worn, unattractive and filled with trash. For some reason, there is a full-time Dallas Police car there and the parking lot is always empty.

In order to gain access to your room, you have to go outside such as you might find at a motel. The rooms were reasonable but random people knock on your door and security is a serious cconcern. There appeared to only be a few others in the hotel with me. The continental breakfast is abhorant and barely meets the standard definition of continental breakfast.

DONT STAY HERE. The reviews are true so this is a heads up notice about what you are getting into. There are reasonable hotels next door stay there instead. The hotel charges $$74.00/night but the accomidations are more like $19.99/night.

If you want to live another day, find another hotel. Security is a serious concern here. The place is just gross.

I stayed on the second floor and had ants all over the bathroom and the desk.
