I was very happy with the hotel and staff, the location was great as long as you didn't have to walk. But centrally located within a mile of most things. The breakfast was average, rooms are nice - covered parking was great as a rain storm blew thru the 2nd and 3rd night I stayed.

Stayed for a week. The location is very convenient - close to downtown and Victory train station (5 - 10 min walk) and American Airlines Centre. If staying for more than a day or two there is no grocery shopping within walking distance. But the very helpful shuttle bus driver, Jessica, offered to drive me to the local supermarket – above & beyond the call of duty! Most of the staff were very helpful & friendly. My room was at the back of the hotel - no noise issues. The room was fine - clean with all the amenities I needed. The complimentary breakfast was good value - but did get a bit monotonous after a few days. The evening 'Manager's Social' (dinner: complimentary food and alcohol) was also very good. There were two computers for guest use in the lobby. Overall, I would recommend this hotel when staying Dallas.

We had an opportunity to stay at this location for four nights while in Dallas for a recent SMU graduation. We found this location to be quite lovely, while still obviously in the process of renovation. In fact, new wallpaper was being installed on our hall while we were there. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, with many hot and cold choices. Our experiences with the staff were good on the three occasions we needed their help. Though costing $18/day, the parking is gated, and the entries from the parking lot are all secure. We enjoyed the small shopping with grocery store nearby. With our kitchen, we were able to prepare small meals in our room. There are two things that need improvement to our way of thinking. Number one, the shower head flows so freely that the water stands in the tub above one's ankles. Number two, there wasn't a dresser in our bedroom with the only clothes storage being a small wardrobe in the closet. There was only one suitcase stand, so we asked for an extra one, which helped.

My daughter and I stayed here to visit some colleges. Our room was on the busy Harry Hines Blvd. very noisy, cars, but on the weekend also people outside, til 4am. The suite was updated and spacious but this did not make up for the other cons.
The people running the front desk are young and did not give accurate information.
The complimenatary shuttle was often unavailable and only runs til 7 pm on the weekends, really not that helpful it only takes you within a 2 mile radius of the hotel.
Breakfast was suppose to be included....we stayed 3 nights, out of that only could find food for breakfast 1 morning the other mornings they were all out by 9am, suppose to to be til 10am. Housekeeping did not make up our room 2 days, even though we did complain to the front desk, it did not make a difference. Taxi fares in Dallas are expensive and the cabbies try and rip you off with extra person, and toll fees...never could figure out their system..so beware. The hotel does charge a 12/night parking fee.
Wi Fii was sporadic at best....although free...could not use it most of the time.
