Every time I walk into a brew pub I wonder how much food comes from the fryer and microwave as opposed to being chef driven cuisine. That clearly wasn’t the case here – and of course Meddlesome Moth is not a traditional brew pub, even if the menu does suggest specialty beer pairings with the food. The prosciutto and pear was delightful as was the pork belly; however dish that stood out most was the seasonal chard. The portion size for shared plates is large so don’t order too many. The atmosphere is lively and it was fun to see the old window’s from the Hard Rock come back to life. This struck us as the perfect place for a first date – lively and fun but still romantic.
