If a busy night, make reservations. Amazing food, casual atmosphere. Cool place to meet friends or go on a date.

We have been trying to find the time to eat here since we moved back to Dallas about a year ago. People in from out of town gave us the perfect reason. All of our meals lived up to what I've read in magazines,etc. Nobody had a bad meal and the whole experience was great. The prices were a touch on the high side, but it won't keep me from going again!

An hour and a half wait on a Saturday night has precluded us from trying this mucho buzzed about restaurant in Oak Cliff. Finally snacked at home and ventured out--crazy mob scene, nice vibe, 90 minute wait (no reservations for fewer than 6 people.) The brisket was dry, the fried chicken was sweet, and the mac and cheese were less than average. Our apps were good--deviled eggs and salumi. Service is really amateur. Won't be back.

Had the opportunity to eat back to back meals at Smoke. As far as dinner, the burger is wonderful and pimento cheese bites are to die for. The pancakes are a must have for breakfast. Will definitely go back!
