Although it is a bit of a drive from downtown, this hotel is near the Galleria and other opportunities for entertainment. Very good service, lovely room, good food in the restaurant.

Our first stay at any Omni was 2008 at Las Colinas, it was nice. This hotel I‘d say not as nice, but okay. I always assumed Omni’s were chic or elegant. Both places hosted our company holiday party so I must say I enjoyed my stay.

Valet was very polite and prompt (not sure what the cost is normally, it was included in our rate). Check-in was fast and we made it to the room with no trouble. The ballroom was lovely, we had our own DJ but the hotel staff did a fabulous job with décor, food and service. I felt safe leaving my clutch at the table while I snapped photos and took ‘partial’ use of the dance floor. My boss had an awesome hospitality suite.

Back to our room… I don’t think it’s too much to expect a pleasant scent when walking into a place like this. I didn’t get a pleasant scent at all. The bathroom was just inside the door and had a slight sewage smell. I just can’t get used to the Texas water. Next, it’s disgusting to see someone else’s hair. Rather than a dirty BR, I want to assume the strands were left behind by the maid. One plus about this room is even though it hugged the elevator, I was never disturbed by any sounds. I loved how you walk in and see a bed, but walk ahead and turn the corner there’s a hidden sitting area! A very nice touch to the suite, create a separation. The bed was very comfortable. Room service was delicious, the attendant even commented on how good my lotions smelled when she walked in (THAT’S WHAT I WANT TO EXPERIENCE).

I traveled with my two kids so that I could attend a business meeting and we chose to stay at this hotel because of the high recommendations. We had to wait 45 minutes past check in time to get our room, and you know that isn't all too convenient when you have an 8 week old baby and a 4 yr old with you. They had said the rooms were not ready. While the room was beautiful and accomodating, it was not very clean. There were fingerprints and smudges all over the glass table tops like they hadn't been wiped down. Having such a small baby cleanliness was definitely a concern so I asked housekeeping (that I saw in the hall) to go back down and wipe the tabletops off or if they would just give me some disinfectant wipes. She couldn't speak english so she walked into our hotel room, walked into the bathroom and back out. Clearly she had no idea what I meant and didn't know what she was doing. The rest of our short stay at this hotel was not problematic. Room was quiet. Everything went smooth with check out. However, two days after our trip, I check my bank account and notice an additional charge from this hotel for $55. Upon calling the hotel I am told that it is for numerous items in the mini bar/fridge. Which makes me obviously furious to see because we did not even touch the mini bar. I am not going to be drinking alcohol with my two kids in my presence not would i have purchased any of the snacks because it is so pricey. I do have a call in to the hotel to dispute this charge. The hotel has told me that the housekeeping made the note in their computer of these items missing from the fridge. I am furious. Because of this incident and the poor job housekeeping does with cleaning, we would not stay at this hotel again. Especially for the price you are paying for luxurious accomodations.

This is a great hotel located in north Dallas. It is conveniently located near DFW. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is great.
