I needed a hotel for a stop-over while traveling north with my kids and dog. It is a very nice property. It was clean and I felt safe. The front desk staff was very friendly! The rooms were clean, roomy and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful - biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, cereals, fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast.

My only complaint would be the price. It was higher compared to the other hotels in the area. We paid $114 with a government discount. Despite that, I would stay again in a heartbeat. The higher price tag was worth the comfort in my book!

We were exhausted from a long day of driving, and my daughter went in the room sat on the bed and within 1 minutes she had ants crawling on her and all over her stuff she had laid on the bed. They were all over the blankets, sheets, and even under the mattress. The office staff immediately switched us to another room, but we woke up to cockroach looking water bugs in our bathroom. One crawled across my foot! I took one of the dead bugs down to show the front desk clerk and she informed me they get them all the time, and it is normal. She said in the Fall they get crickets everywhere and the Spring it is these water bugs. I don't know about you, but we have stayed in ALOT of hotels and have NEVER had a bug issue like this. We sure don't think it is normal or acceptable when you are paying over $100 a night. So our kids could not sleep because they kept feeling bugs crawling on them in our new room. It was miserable. They only adjusted $25 off our bill too. Hot tub was not working either. Coffee and food at breakfast were cold with lots of flies flying around the food. Stay at the Best Western instead. We wish we would have.

Stayed there with wife and dogs. We always try to get a ground floor room on the end so we can bring them in through the side door. The card reader on the near door wasn't working, so I had to bring them through the front door. Not every guest appreciated two panting Golden Retrievers dragging me through the lobby. ;-)
The clock radio in the room was fried.
Couldn't get the "free" internet to work (although we did not try too hard)
Room was clean and fresh. Nice common area to have breakfast. Hot breakfast was okay. Milk & freshly baked cookies available from the common room in the evening was a nice touch.
Staff were nice.

I have no complaints. We enjoyed our one night stop over here. The property is clean, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast hostess was very cordial and helpful. The evening desk clerk was able to answer our questions about the local area in a prompt and courteous manner. All areas of this facility are spotless. The breakfast room is very comfortable and inviting. They had salsa and chips out in the evening, and chocolate-chip cookies. I would stay here again. The only nearby restaurant is The Cracker Barrel, but the food and service there was outstanding.
