I am sitting in this unusual motel having ju st finished my free breakfast. Everything about this motel stay and motel was unexpected pleasure. The people who are running this establishment are very nice and friendly. This was unexpected pleasure. Always smiling and friendly. The front of the motel is decorated with Christmas lights tastefully done. Unexpected pleasure. You could actually take your shoes off and walk in the room. I never do this as the floors in most motels as floors are too dirty(especially bathroom floors. This was an unexpected pleasure. The breakfast even had ham and cheese and plenty of everything else. Another unexpected pleasure. The bathroom had flower arrangement that put off a potpouri smell. It also had a pretty flower arrangement on wall over beds. Another unexpected pleasure. Stay here sometime I am sure you too will find it is an unexpected pleasure in the middle of your travels.

very friendly staff, reasonable prices, nice location, clean, quiet, modern, great bathroom/shower, etc. Call ahead for reservations if possible; they are great people and visitors come back after their first visit. They can be a full house for good reasons. Union City was having a barbque cookoff when we got there and they were full because of that. We checked in the next day and stayed for a week. We will stay there whenever we return to Union City.

...on our trip to Union City, TN we stayed at this Country Hearth Inn while visiting relatives...the plan was to stay only a few days...this is a clean and friendly place, right down to the house keeping staff. Our plans were changed due to a breakdown on our van.
The manager worked with us on keeping a room on a day to day basis until the van was fixed. Being the labor day weekend, of course places were closed until after the holiday.
Finally after an extra 4 days we were on the road again, and happy with our stay with these friendly folks at this hotel....I am late at getting this message out to them, and all of you that read this, but this place is deserving of mention, best managers!! THANKS!

Lovely and quite hotel, nice and helpful staff. Nice breakfast, cozy and clean room. The hotel is also located close to a shopping mall and several food restaurants. The staff was excellent and we will be returning again.
