We stayed here for a week and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were kept clean and the staff went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The only problem we encountered was the pool was closed a couple of days due to storms and then because the pump was out (probably due to a lightening strike), this was something that could not have been prevented it was just bad luck but the staff was very apologetic. I was apprehensive after reading reviews that mentioned roaches and such but we saw nothing like that and would feel very comfortable staying there in the future.

My friend and I are 2 professional gals who, on a whim, decided to go to Bonnaroo. Crazy, right? Well we decided it was best for us to get a hotel and not camp. Obviously the rates for hotels in the area are jacked up for Bonnaroo and we ended up paying $250 a night. We were ok with that. What we were not ok with was the following:

-upon checking in we were given a room on the bottom floor of the hotel facing the road. I asked for a different room and could see the desk person's list of people checking in and available rooms and keys. I was told "rooms had been assigned" like we were at camp.

-we never ever got maid service during our 3 night stay. When we told the front desk about this they argued with us and said we had a do not disturb sign on our door when actually there was not even one in our room.

-our last night there, we returned to find TWO ROACHES in the room. I went to the front desk in persona t 10 pm. The lobby was locked. I saw 2 people at the desk so I knocked on the door and waived at them in a friendly way. They looked up at me and did not acknowledge me at all. I went back to the room and called the front desk. When I told the lady about the roaches she told me "they were coming in b/c it's so hot outside" and she didn't have any idea what I wanted her to do about it. My friend and I slept with the light on that night and checked out a day early at a loss of $250 b/c the place was so disgusting and the staff absolutely rude. We also just can't handle roaches-especially at $250 an hour!

-oh FYI-internet didn't work, no comforter on bed it was more like a "coverlet" that didn't even cover a full human body and there is a UHaul place next door that starts doing the back up "beep beep beep" at 6 am. I didn't even look for bedbugs b/c I was terrified I'd find them

So, this is not a five star property. However, the rooms are clean and well maintained, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We were here for a family funeral, and there were at least six rooms occupied by various family members. I heard no complaints from any of them. There is a small swimming pool and workout room. The continental breakfast is your typical fare, but the staff makes sure that the dining area stays clean and fully stocked. We have stayed here at least twice before and have never been disappointed.

I have a review of this same hotel from Jan. 2009 posted listing it as a great stay. It's sad to say but after a little over 2 years time we won't stay there again.
We actually stayed at the hotel twice this month. Once on the 6th and again on the 13th. We were passing through to visit family. The visit on the 13th decided for us no more.
I will say the staff at least the one woman I met was very nice. That was about the nicest thing I can say about the experience.
The rooms which had been redone 2 years ago are starting to look a little run down now. The beds in our room were hard.
The continental breakfast you can pass on. We still had to go by McDonalds to eat something besides waffles.
This is not a enclosed hotel so be prepared for road noise.
As I said the stay on the 13th sealed it for us. My husband was almost asleep when he felt something on his arm. There was a roach crawling across his arm in bed.
That settled it. Goodbye Jameson.
