“Relaxing Mountain Retreat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

We travelled four and a half thousand miles to Berry Springs Lodge and it was absolutely worth it. The place was spotlessly clean with wonderful breakfasts and evening dessert. Great care has been taken to anticipate guests' needs and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Our room had the most glorious views with a very private balcony complete with hot tub. The whole place has a wonderful feel and beautiful grounds. We went to the smoky mountains hoping to catch the changing colours of the autumn leaves and we were not disappointed as they were at their most spectacular. We would highly recommend this Lodge to anyone looking for peaceful, beautiful surroundings with good food and hospitality.

“Every detail taken care of”

The owners of this b&b really have everything taken care of. They seem to have thought of just about every need and tried to address it before I could even think about it. They have great staff as well and a large area on property to explore--much more than one would expect from a b&b.

“Berry Springs Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

This was our first trip to the Smoky Mountains and staying at Berry Springs Lodge put this vacation over the top. We planned on staying only 2 nights but extended our stay to 5 nights; it was just too lovely to leave. The Autumn Springs room on the 1st floor proved to be easily accessible to our needs and included an incredible view. After sight seeing all day, it felt so good to get back to the room and rest on the king size bed and mattress; so comfortable that we felt like we were in heaven. The room and lobby are so warmly decorated and everything is so clean and fresh that we did not want to leave. In addition, the delicious breakfast served every morning made our stay a perfect vacation.
Thank you so much Patrick and Sue for a lovely time,

Room Tip: If you don't care about a hot tub but would like a Jacuzzi, Autumn Springs is perfect!

“Berry Springs Lodge Wedding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

We found Berry Springs Lodge via their website. It looked so beautiful and they were so kind and helpful on the phone that we decided to have our wedding there after looking and calling dozens of other places. We booked several rooms for our friends and family and we were able to stay in the separate honeymoon suite cabin. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated. The cleanest place indoor and outdoor we have ever seen. Several rooms had private hot tubs on their balconies. Our friends were absolutely amazed at this place. The scenery of the mountains was breathtaking. The breakfasts and nightly desserts were delicious. The service was just outstanding. The owners were always available if we needed them, but they still allowed us our privacy. We held our reception and visited with our friends at the pavilion, which is located away from the main building so we did not disturb other guests there. The wedding package was absolutely perfect and exactly what we wanted. The food was first class all the way. They put on a very nice spread for our reception, much more than what we anticipated. It is very close to town, yet still secluded and away from distractions. There is something there for everyone to enjoy. They have fishing, canoeing, hiking, television, a huge DVD collection, a pool table, an exercise room, an enclosed grill area, or you can just sit on the deck and look at the view. We just arrived home from our honeymoon there and are already planning our next trip back. This isn't just a place for older couples to go. We had a great time and would recommend it to people of any age. Thank you Patrick and Sue for making our wedding and reception just perfect. It was so much more than we expected. “Most amazing accomodations & impeccable hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2011

From the get go, my experience with Berry Springs Lodge was wonderful. I made reservations online through email. Tracy handled everything impeccably. I found their facebook page and quickly came to appreciate how spectacular the place was. My excitement to stay at Berry Springs increased daily as I saw new pictures and read updates posted by the owners and staff. My expectations were completely exceeded when I arrived.

Patrick met us when we finally got into town, much later than typical guests probably. The lodge was lit up beautifully and as we entered scents of home made baking wafted to greet us. The tour Patrick provided illustrated the beauty of the lodge- from the cozy fireplace and comfy couches, to the dining area which always had snacks and beverages on hand. When we got to our room, Honeysuckle Springs, we were delighted at the little touches of elegance. The corner room had a large deck and a fireplace in the room. Had our own jaccuzi on the deck and a view to DIE for (which we saw the day after of course). Patrick was so helpful in staying late and helping us choose someplace to eat and our activities for the next day. After indulging in some evening dessert we had an exceptional nights rest.

Breakfasts at Berry Springs are almost as good as the views out back. Sue is incredible. Our first day we had a breakfast scramble and strawberry muffins, second day was stuffed french toast, and our last day we had eggs and these blueberry oatmeal muffins...delicious. We also made use of the picnic lunches two days which were very filling after long days of hiking. One night we had the dinner in the pavillion which was not only tasty but a great way to have some quiet romance. We also had the fortune to have a couples massage right in our room!

The grounds at Berry Springs are gorgeous. Over 33 acres of trails, ponds, and views. I wish I could have wandered all day....and so close to the Smoky Mountains National Park! The back deck is great to relax on with a cup of coffee and watch the cattle wander the hills or just admire the beauty. Obviously the entire family loves their facility.

I have stayed at many places across the country. This has become my favorite. Everyone is so nice and friendly. I really did not want to leave. The lodge is impeccably clean and charming while still being exquisitely lavish. There is so much love and care that goes into this lodge that one can only wish to stay forever.

I have to highly recommend Berry Springs for anyone looking to spend time in the Sevierville/Gaitlinburg/Smoky Mountains area. Its romantic, its beautiful, its just amazing.

Room Tip: Choose the Honeysuckle Springs room- corner room with lots of space!
