“Almost Perfect”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

We just got back from a two night stay at this hotel. It was a mix of business and pleasure. The hotel decor is really nice and the employees we came in contact with were all very nice and helpful. We had a king room on the 16th floor with a decent view. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. Only negative experience with the room was that is was next to the bank of elevators so it was noisy...but not unbearable. I would recommend the hotel for a romantic get a way or businnes conference/convention. Many resturants/clubs within walking distance. The hotel resturant was ok but too expensive in my opinion. We spent some time at The Bridge Bar/Lounge on the 3rd floor. It was a nice area but drinks were overpriced. Like I said, we were there for part business and part pleasure. Because of the business part, we got the room at a discounted rate which was great. Without the discount on the room, we most likely would never have stayed there because unfortunately it is not in our usual price range BUT still, the hotel was extremely nice and we enjoyed the weekend there. Would love the chance to go back again.

Room Tip: Request a room away from the elevator banks

“On Par”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Renaissance has always delivered when it comes to rooms and service. The one thing that disappointed me here was that the Bridge Lounge was closed until Super Bowl time.

My corner room was comfortable and had a large bathroom. The included breakfast was excellent and the service personnel extremely gracious.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are worth it.

“Location, location, location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

The rooms are pretty small, but they have nice linens and the overall hotel is one of the nicer ones in Nashville. The location is within walking distance to any downtown activities. My friends thought the beds were fine--I thought they were really hard. Room service overcharged $10. on
our bill. We stay in Nashville several times per year and this is our first time at the Renaaissance--- got $93 off per night for government employee rate-- who would have thought? Park across the street in the garage for $8, valet is $28. NashTrash tour is by far the best "girl trip" thing to do---

Room Tip: the higher floors do have beautiful views--

“Second thoughts on the Bridge Lounge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

After my unpleasant experience at the Bridge Lounge in Oct of last year, I was contacted by the Food & Beverage Manager at the hotel. He was extremely apologetic and explained they were understaffed that evening. I appreciated that he did not try to explain it away, but took responsibility for the poor experience I had. In addition, he offered to extend another opportunity for us to visit the hotel and/or restaurant. Unfortunately, we were not able to take advantage of his kind offer, but we certainly appreciated it. I will give the Bridge Lounge another chance the next time I visit Nashville.

“Great place to stay in a great town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

Excellent hotel situated right in the middle of it all. Close to the convention center and the Broadway country bar scene. The best part is the close proximity to the Bridgestone Arena and all the great Predator games.
