The rooms are great, the staff is ever so nice and polite. The hotel is quiet and the food is excellent. I definitely recommend it.
I visit Nashville several times a year both for personal and/or business trips. I typically stay downtown in the 4th street area. My husband talked me into trying out this hotel when we saw the low prices on line. We were in town for a hockey game, so thought we would try it. As soon as we checked in, we requested an upgrade to a king bedroom for no additional charge. The room was on the 5th floor and renovated, so it was nice and clean looking for the largest part. Service was good, there is onsite parking and things in walking distance to eat-it is right on the outskirts of campus. If you want to go downtown, it is over a mile, so you may want to take a cab ($8) downtown if it is raining or really cold. This was the only true downside we experienced. We did not try the hotel bar or restaurant. It is a pet-friendly hotel which some people may need to be aware of in advance. We enjoyed the hotel and will try it again in the future, as well as try the Loews chain at other large cities we visit.
I was taking my wife for a surprise trip to Nashville. Thought paying for a four star hotel would be a great intimate/ relaxed setting. Not in this case! The hotels first two floors looked okay but the hotel on the outside...lets just say google map it and look on the satellite imagery, and decide for yourself. We got to the hotel were in good moods until our elevator dropped us off at our room level. The hallway was disgusting looking for a four star hotel. The doors were poorly painted and everything looked thrown together. The hallway smelled awful! The bed situation i wasnt happy about, because i called the day before the trip and requested a king size. If they didnt have the size of the bed then why not tell me? At least two queens will suffice, but no...two doubles. The bathrroom looked straight out of a holiday inn. and for four star quality i was severley dissapointed. Ive stayed at 3.5 star hotels that were far cleaner and had better presentation for this money!! Please take this into consideration. Dont pay more than a 100 dollars per night for this hotel, cuz thats all you'll get!
The best! Awesome people work there. I love Lisa at the front desk and Jessica in the restaurant.
