This Hilton seems to do everything right but it does nothing spectacularly. It also does nothing particularly wrong.
The best part of this hotel is without a doubt the location. If you draw a triangle combining the country music hall of fame, the bridgestone arena, and the symphony house, this Hilton would be the base of the triangle. Its also steps away from the 'honkeytonk' of Broadway. I don't think it would be a stretch to say this is the best located hotel in all of Nashville.
The rooms were also very spacious. Every room is essentially a mini-suite. There is a tv in the bedroom and the living room. It had a mini-fridge (empty) and a microwave. Also my room overlooked the country music hall of fame and the sunlight was plentiful.
Now this hotel isn't old and it isn't out of date but its not new and the hotel style is not brand new. This coupled with the fact the windows don't open in any way made the hotel room feel a bit stuffy. I couldn't get the very slight smell of dust out. Parking is valet or self-park but self-park is off-site and has no in and out privileges.
