“National Bible Bee Competition”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011

Stayed 6 nights while attending a national competition. Couldn't beat the cost and location for our needs. Room was clean, in a safe area, lots of restaurants and gas stations nearby. I would have given a #5 rating, but 4 of the 6 nights, the bathroom light went out because of fuse overload. The reset button was located in the adjoining room. If it went out early in the evening or no one occupied the room it could be reset by the staff within minutes, however, if the adjoining room was occupied, our bathroom light could not be reset until morning so as not to disturb guests in the adjoining room (this did happen one night). Also, it was not soundproof because it was an adjoining room and the guests in the other room could be heard through the doors.

Room Tip: Stay away from adjoining rooms if you want quiet.

“I walked out. Didn't stay”

I don't require much when driving over 500 miles a day but this place had none of it. Probably just what you need for a pay by the hour girlfriend.
I'm sure that somebody will give them $75 for a room here but it won't be my money. I checked 2 rooms and left. These are $40 rooms. Hotel is under a flight path. Terrible, terrible beds, shoddy furniture, dirty carpets, and to top it all off, an a.. hole desk clerk. I'm out. Good Luck here.

Room Tip: Not likely here without a pay by the hour girl friend

“Very good value for short overnight stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2011

I stayed here on both legs of my journey flying into Nashille before driving 2 hours to my ultimate destination, so what was important to me was the convenience to the ariport and that it was clean, of which both were obtained. Both rooms I stayed in had been freshened up recently, newer carpet and paint. The first room on the second floor was quiet, the second was on the ground where there was more traffic, especially people coming from and going to the airport both late and early--I can't complain as i was one..however if you want a quieter night ask for the 2nd floor. Very little noise from the airport considering how close it was (took 5 minutes in light traffic to get to airport). Also has Waffle House and Shoney's within walking distant. My son and I walked to waffle house on Saturday night and felt quite safe. Gas station right next door, great to fuel up the rental car before returning. Check in and quick and pleasant. Overall, a good place to stay if coming in late or leaving early on a flight. It's not a 5 star hotel, but for the cost class it's in it's much better than average for that price range.

Room Tip: 2nd floor is quieter as this is "airport" motel with people coming and going and late/earl...

“Port in a Storm”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011

person found this review helpful

On the night that I stayed here I arrived in Nashville as an unfamiliar traveller in the middle of thunder, lightning and the commencement of a storm, so I was grateful to be safely off the road and under cover. The most outstanding thing about this Motel was the staff who were very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. The room was OK, certainly not fancy but at least clean. For the ultra security conscious, it also contained a safe. There is no breakfast included and whilst coffee is available, you need to go to reception to get it. I did not use the safe and whilst I have no complaint, it is my opinion that the money invested on the safe, which I doubt would be used by many people if ever, would have been better spent on supplying guests with the option to make a cup of coffee in their own room.

“The Motel you want: nice, clean and cheap”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

I wish all motels was as simple as this one, you arrive, get a clean and cheap room, ask the staff some questions about the city, go downtown and check out the next day.

Very clean room and about 15 min drive to downtown for a low cost.

There are no breakfast and the coffe is undrinkable but - I have to mention - the staff was excellent! We was met by "Robert" who treated us so well we felt we were at a 5 star location! So friendly, polite, corecct and professional! As he checked us in and answered all our questions, he served other guests via the phone in the sama way. Thumbs up!
