Liked the room, had a king bed and the surrounding gardens were well maintained, however we stayed two nights and the restaurant (which was advertised as part of this resort) was closed both nights, It was the Australia Day weekend and the motel was heavily booked. On the Monday night prior to Aust. Day the only hotel in Lancefield was also closed, there are no other options available it is disappointing that the motel did not cater for it's guests, We drove to Romsey 8 klm away for dinner. The other disappointment is this resort is at the Cleveland winery but the tasting room was not open at all and no tastings were available.

The Grange is a good find if you ever have need to be in Lancefield. Given that there is not much there to actually DO, I don't know why that would be the case!
We booked 2 nights originally as we had been indicated that it was close to the Daylesford area. However, it is over 50 minutes drive on country roads away, so we forfeited our 2nd night (lucky it was only moderately priced) and moved on to Hepburn Springs.
However, rooms at the Grange are clean, breakfast was great and we got free Wi-Fi, so it's a real pity that it's not located somewhere closer to the action!

Excellent large rooms set in beautifully landscaped gardens.

The room contained a single and queen, with ample room to move around in. There was a large desk which was suitable to use a laptop at and the bathroom was very large with ample room to place toiletries etc.

Couldn't fault this place at all.
