Beautiful hotel in a lovely location which is being renovated to a VERY high standard.
Our room was brilliant with a great bathroom.
Evening meal was imaginative and well cooked but the kitchen closes at 8pm and we saw at least 12 people being turned away. This is the only place to eat for quite a distance. Three lads who were staying at the nearby hostel and had just cycled over 40 miles had to practically beg before they gave in and cooked fish and chips for them to the delight of the whole dining-room if the loud cheer that went up said anything! 9pm would be a more reasonable time to shut the kitchen was the general view of all the other diners we spoke to.
Other than that gripe- Highly Recommended
