My wife and I stayed at this hotel on March 12th 2009. A few days after checking out I noticed on my credit card account 3 charges for the room. I discovered later that one was for the room $ 63.93 and two $100 charges were for smoking in a smoke free room. It took quite a few emails to convince the hotel they had charged me two smoking penelties and eventualy I did get one of the charges reversed. The other one will have to be paid. The real problem here is neither my wife or I smoke. Through my emails to the hotel I kept asking what they wanted as proof that we do not smoke. But that was not an option to the hotel and I was being charged whether I liked it or not.
My suggestion is for anyone staying at this hotel is to have the room checked for smoking by the desk before checking out and signing off that the room is smoke free.

Great desk personnel, very friendly and helpful! Rooms were clean and smelled nice. Rooms and property are being remodeled and updated.
Breakfast was nice, eggs (scrambled and boiled), sausage, french toast, bagels, cereal, milk and juice. Great !
Will book a block of rooms next year for our event! Close to mall and shopping, very convienient!

walked in after driving for hours got to the room mold on the walls. bad smell in the room talked to the desk said there was nothing they could do moved to two other rooms before i found something half way good. Then when i got up in the morning there was no hot water called the desk again said they knew and hung up on me. very unhappy nobody should ever go to this hotel staff was hateful and did not try to make me happy. BAD HOTEL

This place is the WORST motel/hotel I have ever stayed in! Booked this motel through AAA on our way back home from a Myrtle Beach vacation! It is the midway point from MB to STL. Got there looked great from the outside. Had a pool and accepted dogs! INCLUDING wolves! You read that right! There was a man on the bottom floor who had 2 wolves in his room! Also we requested a NON smoking room and the door said NO SMOKING but when you opened the door all you smelled was smoke and ash! We went to the front desk and asked for another room. Which was NO better! Once we settled for the night my 3yr old daughter started screaming! She got bit by a spider and was swelling up like a balloon! We ended up spending the night in the ER as she is VERY allergic to spiders! It was IN the bed with her! I ended up killing it and leaving it on the bed. We complained to the front desk and they didn't care! We connected Best Western corporate and they refunded our money for the room BUT heard nothing from the motel in Knoxville! WILL never stay there again! And now I am real cauious where we stay!
