“Worst Best Western in the Nation”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2011

This place was a disaster and relatively expensive, to boot.
1. The lobby was dirty and the staff apathetic
2. The room door was stuck and the manager had to come upstairs and kick the door a couple of times to get it open.
3. The wireless internet was free and non-existent. There was absolutely no reception in the room, one bar on the landing outside the room, and only 2 bars sporadically in the lobby. Their machine in the lobby was broken. Manager's response to my concerns, "Oh, well."
4. Breakfast was scant, at best, with the morning staff watching over my children and shooing them away as they took their food.

I would recommend getting off 1 exit north of Kingston Spring and getting a hotel there. There were many more choices available.

Hotel staff were very friendly- room was very attractively decorated and clean-nice breakfast the next morning- we are very pleased that we chose this location after a long day of driving

“Never be back again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 June 2011

The manager (Patel) was very rude. Kept me waiting, while he was busy chatting via phone.
Next, towels, bed sheets pilling up on a dirty carpet/floor in the service area (next to breakfast bar).

No milk, no juice, no fruits available for breakfast (at 8AM) and when I asked for it, "dont have it, you're late" Patel responsed and walked off. His woman did the same too.

A solo Causcasin male traveller who was in the middle of his seizures at the breakfast bar, tried not to spill milk on the floor, "why you spill milk on my floor?" Patel asked. Then I helped the man to sit down, requested more milk for him, so he can take his medication.

No more milk, no more juice either. I save whatever left, from my cup, about 1/2 small cup, for the man, then asked for more for this man. Both Mr & Mrs. Patel walked off, ignored my ligimate request, even I explained to them that the man can't take his medication on an empty stomach.

Waffles were re-frozened after thawed out, bagels are still frozen.

Best Western always serves REAL and good coffee, but not this one.
Best Western quality of service goes down fast since they franchise its brand to these owners.

“Great place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 June 2011

The motel was clean and comfortable. It provided us with the same thing that high end hotels in Washington, DC and NYC I've stayed in did: a comfortable clean place to sleep. The pool area was clean and looked like it'd recently been painted. Yes, the building is a bit old and tired; but still a good place to stay.

We were traveling with a service dog for which they did not charge. This is a pet-friendly motel.

Pretty decent mexican restaurant right across the street and walking distance to fast food. If you get a chance, take the short drive into 'downtown' Kingston Springs. It's a very pleasant little community where time seems to have stood still.

Room Tip: Book online with Best Western for best rates.

“Not a good Best Western-thumbs down”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 May 2011

I found this hotel disappointing. Very poor internet as it booted me every 60 seconds. Almost impossible to get work done. Evening desk clerk was less than friendly. In the morning I checked out at 6:14 a.m. and when I went near the breakfast was told it wasnt available until 6:30 a.m. Considering the attitudes, I didn't want to eat it anyway, so I grabbed a cup of coffee and left. Room rate with AARP was $69.99 plus tax. Not a good value.

I do not recommend this hotel and I do not recommend Kingston Springs. The other hotels are not likely to be good either. Stay in Dickson, TN. I am on the road every week and this is not where you want to be.
