“Clean, Comfortable, Friendly and Would Stay Again”

I was in Jamestown on personal business for only one night and stayed at the Jordan Motel as it is the only option in Jamestown. This is mom and pop motel not a chain and the owner was very kind and helpful. Although on a busy road, the setting of the motel is lovely with lots of trees and yard around the property.

I was assigned a single room at the front, close to the office, but since it was an end room I could hear the road noise and asked if they had anything quieter. The room was NOT terrible noisy but I was having sleep issues at the time and needed VERY quiet or I could not sleep. The front, single room was clean and fine, but a little more old fashioned and what you would expect from a mom and pop motel. I was then given the option to look at a room in the back of the newer building. This room had 2 queen beds and was VERY large. It was comparable to any chain hotel room layout with even more floor space. It was super clean with refrigerator and microwave. The tv was old school but worked fine. The room was SUPER quiet and I could not have asked for more. The bed was fine and the shower had good hot water and pressure.

I did not see any breakfast included nor ask about it but the prices at the Jordan are very reasonable so no breakfast was expected by me. They had ice and a pop machine but I do not know if they had any other exercise rooms or ammenities. I would recommend this motel very much if you are in the Jamestown area.

Room Tip: New building in the rear has lovely, quiet rooms

This is not a luxury hotel so don't expect that level or service. There is no ice machine, no alarm clock in the room, no lotion or shampoo, the carpet is Indoor-outdoor and the bed is very, VERY HARD.

However, if you are looking for a low-cost motel in this area, this is the one!!
