Hotel is old and in need of furniture update but was clean. It was centrally located to the venues where I attended functions but some travelers may not care for the location behind Costco. Staff were nice And helpful, contrary to some reviews that I had read. Hotel served my purpose and, since I required more than one room, also helped my budget.

This was a nice stay. The suite was quite large with fridge and extras. Nice pool area. Staff was great and good selection of complimentary breakfast foods. It needs a little bit of updating, but worth the money.

No complaints on the hotel overall, other than finding my reservation was a nightmare (partially my fault). After arriving to my room, however, there was no internet. I notified the front desk... he responded "I'll call the helpdesk and follow up with you after I hear something..." I waited about an hour, never heard anything back. So I stopped at the front desk on my way out for dinner, he tried to call them again.

I checked in after returning from dinner - still nothing. He said he would notify me as soon as he heard something... Needless to say, I woke the next morning and checked out... with NO word of response to my faulty internet. Very poor customer service, follow through, and loyalty. And this is while they were SLOW - meaning I was the ONLY car parked there.

We traveled to Memphis to visit our college daughter. We checked in and the next morning we were asked to sign a paper that said the water would be turned off to fix a leak. It was not, but was the next day. Then we were told it would be off the next day. It wasn"t, but was the next day, and the day after that. We spent basically our whole week trying (unsuccessfully) to schedule our days around not being able to use our room during the day.. When we complained we were told it was no different than if we had a water problem at home in our own house! Well excuse me, I am not paying the hotel to stay in my house! We paid for a hotel room that we were not able to use during the day for almost the whole week we were there, and were not told it would be for repeated days all week. The hotel management could not understand why this was a problem! Memphis has a lot of great hotels, but this is not one of them!
