I have stayed at several hotels in my life time but I have never ever been as shocked by the sight of a place as I was of this one. The room was dirty, it smelled and it was obvious that prostitution was going on. To make matters worse my grandchildren were with me and this caused a horrible experience for them. To the point that they would not stay at another hotel that night. I was most dissapointed in the establishment as well as the personel. No one was willing to "fix" the problem.

Take my advice and run away from the Parkside Inn.

Upon checking in we went to the room only to find it repulsive. I entered the room about 2 feet and my wife declined to enter. We immediatly went back to the front desk and requested return of the credit card pre auth. We were advised we could not be provided with it and the card would not be run. Of course it was charged and was advised that it would be credited. Of course it has not been credited. A month of calls to the manager as well as the home office have not been returned. The receipt from the hotel shows membership in both the Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce. The hotel is not a member of either organization and there are 15 unanswered comlaints with the BBB. BEWARE

Horrible!! I booked the so called "suite" at the total price of
$93 (tax included) through hotels. and had to RUN away after seeing the rooms.
First of all, the "suite" turned out to be a set of two connected rooms
with strange smell inside, very old A/Cs one of which was not
operable (with the T= 96 F outside !!!), a brocken minifridge door, and ... lo and behold: traces of some bugs in one bed, bloodstains
on a sheet in another bed (room 203) , a layer of dust behind
the headboards in room 203. The last drop: a huge, about 2 in long, cockroach marching through room 202. Of course, this one was promptly killed by yours truly.
And the receptionist told me that these were their BEST rooms.
So if I were the owner of this dump, I'd died of shame.

In addition, my reservation made through the "hotels." was never sent to this site. ( I assume I still have to pay these $92.)
We managed to find another place that night, a decent one, in Oak Grove KY, a suite for only $76 plus tax.

So now, wherever I see the sign "Parkside ... ", I shiver.

at the parkside inn in clarksville tenn was very
very upsetting because back in july 2004 me and my familly was robed at the parkside inn by an employee we were checking out but before we went to get coffee this employee jounior whatch went and took my wallet and stoled 100 dollars out of it plus a bank card then he took my wallet wraped it in a wash cloth through it in a trash can
how we found out was the clerk that was there was nice enough to help us narrow it to who it was the manager did give me and my familly one night free
or was it free but what about the other half that was used for drugs the employee lived on the hotel
grounds we called the clarksville police they field a report and put a warrant for his arest i am so ashamed of were i was born and raised that people
are so careless about other peoples feelings
so i will never stay there again
