My husband and I decided to take a overnight trip to Chattanooga w/o a reservation. While riding around we found this dump but it actually didn't look that bad from the outside. We went to our room, door said non-smoking but it reeeked of smoke, and decided to check out the pool. Once we were at the pool we were surrounded by prostitues asking for money. We immediatly went to the desk and ask for our money back, she refused so we went to dinner and came back to find the so called "secrurity guards" standing on the balcony drinking 40oz beers. We grabbed our bags and checked out 2 1/2 hours after check-in w/o a refund.

After riding around Chattanooga looking for a room, I saw the big Day's Inn sign beckoning to me. I knew the property was heavily used when the front door to the office scretched shut. The front desk clerk was very nice, moving slowly all the while. In the middle of my transaction she stopped and spent about five minutes on the pool to answer the question of the guest in line behind me. The room rate was good. I trudged off to my room on the first floor near the pool. Upon opening the door, I saw a large room with coffee table and a full sized bathroom. I stepped into the bathroom and noticed my shoes were soaked. There was a leak that kept on going all night long. The carpet was filthy and after settling in for a hour or two the mold smell began to aggravate my allergies. I asked myself, "Can I make it here all night long?" I was too tired to change hotels and still wanted to get out to see Chattanooga. As I showered I noticed the hot water knob on the shower was boiling to the touch. This Day's Inn is an old property. Unlike other Day's Inn that look okay from the outside but are actually filth traps inside, this hotel's exterior hinted at what was inside. I just wasn't prepared for the water leak.

This hotel is a joke!! As soon as we got out of the car we were like "wtf" were we thinking??
We went in anyways and paid in full with cash , he sent us to third floor to find our room after walking around for 20 mins like idiots , we found out he sent us to wrong floor. We finally found our dump!! The sheets were stained , didnt even have a fitted sheet on the bed, and when we asked for new ones they were stained as well . Oh did i mention the roaches , they were crawling on every wall. Im thinking they had bedbugs as well considering i itched like crazy!!! The door did not lock , and it had a crack that my hand could fit under we couldnt even keep the room warm , there was dirty rags , old food , and balls of lent all under the bed ew...!! to top it off they charged our debit card for someone elses room , and tried to argue with us like we were wrong. after fighting with them for 30 mins they said ok your right , but refused to give us a refund... this place is ran down to say the least!! A 3 year old child could run this place better!!!! It is not safe , as we were walking to our room ,a man bluntly said do you want to get high, no i dont do drugs!!! WORST PART OF TOWN and the STAFF is rude as hell ... NEVER AGAIN !!! I much rather sleep in my car!!

We decided to take a short vacation, and go to Chattanooga,and take in the local attractions, the Incline, Ruby Falls, and Rock City. This Days Inn, has some, 3, Double Bed rooms, which we booked one of them. Room was pretty clean, hotel staff was very friendly, only drawback to this Days Inn is the location, made you uneasy at night, and the lack of nearby restaurants. Front desk people were very friendly, and helpful. This hotel has a better business center than the Fairfield Inn North, in Gatlinburg, where we went next.
